Forecast of Dredging and Marine Construction:

PORT ARTHUR CANAL, TAYLORS BAYOU CHANNEL

The dredge “Missouri H” (Mike Hooks),
is dredging in the Port Arthur Canal Junction Area, proceeding south.
Floating and submerged lines will extend to the placement area
on the east side of the channel.

SNWW - SABINE-NECHES CANAL

The dredge “Marion” (Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel) will be performing dredging
operations in the Sabine-Neches Canal Area, moving south.
Submerged and floating pipelines will extend behind the dredge to
placement areas on the east side of the channel,
to the north end of Pleasure Island.

SNWW – OUTER BAR CHANNEL

The hopper dredge “B.E. Lindholm” (Weeks) will be operating in the Outer
Bar
Channel. Material will be placed in the open-water placement areas west
of
the channel
in the Gulf of Mexico.

HSC, DEEPENING AND WIDENING (HGNC) – LOWER BAYOU
The dredge “Meridian” (Bean/Stuyvesant) has left the Lower Bayou project
to dredge a
project for the Wilmington District. The District has signed
a "Suspension
of Dredging"
on the contract, and the dredge is not expected to return to Galveston
District until 31 March 2003.
