AS OF 0400/5TH THE SABINE PILOTS SUSPENDED SERVICE DUE TO DENSE FOG.

TRAFFIC IS EXPECTED TO MOVE OUTBOUND WHEN THE FOG CLEARS.  THREE

DAYLIGHT RESTRICTED VESSELS ARE SCHEDULED FOR OUTBOUND TRANSIT. 

TWO DAYLIGHT RESTRICTED VESSELS ARE SCHEDULED FOR INBOUND TRANSIT

BUT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO INBOUND IF THE FOG CLEARS TOO LATE.

<span-family:"Courier New"">USCG – clarification re salvage and marine firefighting

<span-family:"Courier New"">The US Coast Guard issued a clarification regarding its salvage and marine

<span-family:"Courier New"">firefighting requirements for vessel response plans (VRPs) for oil. On

<span-family:"Courier New"">September 3, the agency announced that the Office of Management and Budget

<span-family:"Courier New"">(OMB) had approved the collection of information associated with those

<span-family:"Courier New"">requirements. The announcement also indicated that the requirement would be

<span-family:"Courier New"">enforced beginning September 3. The Coast Guard has now clarified that the

<span-family:"Courier New"">information collection will be enforced as of February 22, 2011, when the

<span-family:"Courier New"">salvage and marine firefighting regulations come into force. 75 Fed. Reg.

Skies remain cloudy. For tomorrow, expect mostly cloudy skies with highs back up near 79 with a 60% chance of showers and storms by tomorrow evening.

<span-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#262626">A stronger cold front arrives tomorrow evening that will help drop those values for the next several days. On Election Day, expect clear sunny skies with lows near 54 and a high of 73 with drier conditions.
