WEATHER

Risk Of Rain Increasing.....

Moisture levels will be increasing off the Gulf over the next few days
with a better risk of showers and thunderstorms expected. The best
coverage should be Monday and Tuesday with some locally heavy rains
possible. In fact, rainfall totals to around one inch can be expected
from the heavier cells. With more clouds, temperatures will be a little
cooler for afternoon highs on Monday.

Claudette has formed in the NE Gulf just southeast of the Florida
Panhandle. The center of TS Claudette will move onshore into southern
Alabama this morning.

Tropical Depression Ana is moveing quickly over the Leeward Islands. Ana
is moving generally to the west/NW about 28 mph with highest winds of 35
mph. Ana should continue a general westerly track for the next 24-36
hours with some slow decrease in intensity.

Hurricane Bill is located about 1160 miles east of the Lesser Antilles.
Bill is packing 75 mph and is moving to the west about 22 mph. Bill
should continue a general west-northwest course for the next 24 hours
with a gradual increase in intensity. A more Northwest turn is expected.

Triangle Forecast....

Today.....Partly cloudy with a 50 percent coverage of showers and
thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90's. Heat index near 101. Winds
mostly southeasterly at 3-14 mph.

Tonight......A 20% coverage of showers late. Lows in the middle 70's.
Winds light southeasterly less than 5 mph.
