Fewer Storms And Hotter Temps By The Weekend!

Fewer storms over the area in the Triangle and Lakes. Only isolated
through the weekend as drier air moves in from the north in the mid
levels. Next week looks wet again as another upper trough develops and
moisture increases.

Tropics are quiet.

Today......Partly cloudy and hot with a 30% coverage of thunderstorms.
Highs in the low to mid 90's. Var winds 3-15 mph.

Tonight.....Variable cloudiness with a 20 percent coverage of showers and
thunderstorms early.. Lows in the middle 70's. Winds mostly southerly
less than 5 mph.
