More Storm Chances To Continue....

Upper level disturbances will continue to move in from the northwest
bringing us scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of the activity
will be locally heavy with rainfall totals between one and two inches
possible. Expect gusty winds and cloud to ground lightning strikes.
Meanwhile, temperatures will likely stay a little below normal for this
time of year due to plenty of clouds.

The tropics are quiet.

Triangle Forecast....

Today.....Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent coverage of showers and
thunderstorms. Highs near 90. Winds mostly south to southeast at 3-14
mph.

Tonight.....Variable cloudiness with a 30 percent coverage of showers and
thunderstorms. Lows in the middle 70's. Winds light and variable less
than 5 mph.
