WEATHER

A Little Drier Air In Place....

Drier and more stable air is working into our area from the north and
northeast which should result in a reduction in the coverage of showers
and thunderstorms. Only isolated activity is expected through tomorrow.
Southeast winds will return by Thursday and Friday resulting in the risk
of rain should increase again as deeper Gulf moisture returns.

The tropics are quiet.

Triangle Forecast...

Today.....Fair to partly cloudy with a 10 percent coverage of evening
showers or thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90's. Heat index near
100. Winds mostly northeast to east at 3-12 mph.

Tonight.....Fair to partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 70's. Winds mostly
northeasterly at 2-10 mph. No rain expected.
