WEATHER:

Drier Air In The Upper Levels....

Drier air, in the upper levels, is working in from the east which should
greatly restrict the coverage of showers and thunderstorms through the
weekend. With fewer showers and more sunshine, temperatures will be a
little warmer during the afternoon.

It appears that shower and thunderstorm activity will increase again
early next week as a surge of moisture moves in off the Gulf.

Triangle Forecast.....

Tonight.....Fair. Lows in the middle to upper 70's. Winds light
southeasterly less than 7 mph. No rain expected.

Friday.....Partly cloudy with a 20 percent coverage of showers and
thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90's. Heat index near 102. Winds mostly
southeasterly 3-12 mph.

Marine Forecast for Friday.....

Winds......SE 4-14 knots.

Seas.......2-3 feet.

Bays.......smooth to slightly choppy.

Water temp......86.

Weather........Partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms.

Outlook for Saturday.....Winds mostly SE 4-14 knots. Seas 2-3 feet.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
