PILOT/TRAFFIC ADVISORIES:

VESSEL TRAFFIC STARTED INBOUND AT 0500/26TH WITH ONE
DAYLIGHT VESSEL. AT THIS TIME, ONE DAYLIGHT VESSEL
IS SCHEDULED FOR OUTBOUND TRANSIT AFTERNOON 26TH.

MAY 12 & 13 FROM 0800-2200 THE SABINE/NECHES CHANNEL WILL BE
CLOSED AROUND THE PORT NECHES PARK AREA FOR THE ANNUAL THUNDER
ON THE NECHES BOAT RACES. DAYLIGHT TRAFFIC FOR BOTH DAYS WILL
BE OUTBOUND ONLY.

ON OR ABOUT MAY 15-17 THE SABINE/NECHES CHANNEL WILL BE
CLOSED 6-8 HRS TO ALLOW THE RIG "NEPTUNE" TO SAIL OUTBOUND.

Drier Airmass In Place.......

Upper low moving northeastward and cold front through the area has
delivered a drier airmass. Sunny and warm days with lower humidity. Cool
one more night. (In the 50's.) Next chance for rain will hold off until
Monday.

Triangle Forecast.....

Today....Sunny and warm with highs in the lower 80's. W/NW wind 3-12 mph.
No rain expected.

Tonight....Clear and cool. Lows in the upper 40's to near 50. Winds light
and variable. No rain expected.
