PILOT/TRAFFIC ADVISORIES:

VESSEL TRAFFIC STARTED INBOUND AT 0600/24TH WITH ONE
DAYLIGHT VESSEL. TWO DAYLIGHT VESSELS ARE SCHEDULED
FOR OUTBOUND TRANSIT THE 24TH.

MAY 12 & 13 FROM 0800-2200 THE SABINE/NECHES CHANNEL WILL BE
CLOSED AROUND THE PORT NECHES PARK AREA FOR THE ANNUAL THUNDER
ON THE NECHES BOAT RACES. DAYLIGHT TRAFFIC FOR BOTH DAYS WILL
BE OUTBOUND ONLY.

ON OR ABOUT MAY 15-17 THE SABINE/NECHES CHANNEL WILL BE
CLOSED 6-8 HRS TO ALLOW THE RIG "NEPTUNE" TO SAIL OUTBOUND.

Some Scattered Storms Today....Strong Thunderstorms Likely
Tomorrow.........

High pressure moving to the east will allow an onshore windflow for the
next few days keeping our temperatures on the warm side. The next risk
for showers and thunderstorms will likely be widely scattered today and
possibly heavy Wednesday as an upper level disturbance approaches from
the west. Some of the storms may be severe from late Tuesday through Noon
Wednesday.

Triangle Forecast.....

Today.....Partly sunny, warm and breezy with a 30% coverage of showers.
Highs around 80. S/SE wind 4-18 mph.

Tonight....Mostly cloudy, breezy and warm with a 50% coverage of rain and
thunderstorms.
Some possibly heavy to severe. Lows in the upper 60's to near 70. Winds
southwest 4-18 mph.
